Yes, there should be a threaded rear ring with a collection of foam inserts to close off the rear of the mattebox. Check with us in about three days as the height adjustable version of the mattebox mount (uses the new clamping blocks for the carbon rails) will be available. Three questions:

1. What model are the sticks/head? They look very solid.
2. What lens do you have mounted up? Looks like a very fast zoom. I'm guessing the zoom has a lot of travel, which explains the fact that you're not using 4x4 filters.
3. What monitor are you using?

This rig in all black is just plain sexy.

Yes, we have full MB with all accesories for it, but we decide to not use them for now (the reason is - zoom lenses).

1 - we use Vinten 501 tripod, very solid.
2 - The lens at the pictures is Sigma 70-300mm zoom. And yes, it have a lot of traveling. We use ring filters, not 4x4 for this lens.
3 - The monitor is very cheap model, for getting idea for pans, I use camera LCD (with magnet flip hack) for focusing. My new HD monitor is comming soon.

Is there a video with the look of this lens adpater on the JVC HD7u camera? I would like to see it, also what kind of lens adapter is this? Is there a Cinevate adapter or different?

Hi there. If you go to "Featured Customer Footage" (http://www.cinevate.com/website/index.php/demo, under the "Theatre" link at the top) you see a lots of customer footage shot with a wide range of cameras.
Even more footage can be found under "Customer Footage" (viewforum.php?f=2, also under "Theatre"), I'm sure there is some HD7U footage in there somewhere.
