Sony V1U Magnet Flip?

Does anyone know how to trick the LCD on the V1U to flip with a magnet? I have looked everywhere on the web but cannot find a thing. I know a monitor will work but I'm still interested in the magnet trick.

there is a thread at cinevate with apicture which shows where to place the magnet. Don t know the name of the guy that posted it but I am very grateful for it. I tried every spot on my cam but could not find it without his help

I've tried all the magnet postings on this forum with my v1u also, but they usually are from someone using a z1. I bought the neodymium magnets, moved them all around the viewfinder area, and I can't get the LCD to flip. I'm not sure if the v1u is different in such a way that the magnet trick that works for the z1 doesn't work for the v1u?

The sweet spot for the FX1/Z1 is near the VCR playback buttons on the left. It is NOT on/along the LCD. Try it out on the V1. I'm not sure if it will work.
