A while back I shot a film short on the canon XHA1 and the Brevis 35 with Nikon lenses. Here are some stills from the shoot. This was a non flipped unit was not yet released at the time. Lens f-stop was probably between 2 and 2.8/4 on all shots. We actually used a Nikon mount Sigma 70-200 f 2.8 zoom on a lot of this footage and it worked pretty well. There may be a few shot where we were shooting f4. I had previously shot with another adapter but the Brevis was the unit I chose as we would not have had enough light to shoot on this project with a less light sensitive unit. The difference in depth of field control on this project made what would have been a nightmare location a joy to shoot in, not to mention it looks much better. Enjoy.
