Ultimately, our goal is to have every customer we deal with react just like that. One of the cool things about this clip is that we did it completely with talent from Thunder Bay, with a little help from a friend in the UK on audio. Ultimately we're all creative types here so half the fun of the launch was putting the promo clip together.

So, basically what you are saying is that the only reason why you design, build and manufacture all this equipment is to make promo videos.
That is out of the bag.

Looks great! Can't wait to see the other promo vids of the new gear that is coming out.

Fantastic video. So my MP.1 is still in the box you shipped it in when you repaired it in December. What's involved with upgrading it to the MP.2 version? I have a shoot on April 25th. Is there time to get it there and back?

Michael, yes, plenty of time. The MP.2 upgrade would simply replace your existing processor board along with the new motor. In your case, with a functioning MP.1 in hand, the cheapest thing though is for us to ship you one of the new MP.2 motors which would give your MP.1 the biggest buzz for it's buck for just the cost of shipping an envelope. What you'd be missing is the onboard circuit protection and updated firmware.

Andrew, what you said is strangely true. My personal interest in the cinema/video world stems from a desire to shoot professional looking product on a budget. This passion/obsession led to Cinevate (it wasn't planned that way!) and consequently we end up using our own products in everything we do. When the snow clears we've got a very cool project that will involve using everything we make (and a bunch you'll see at NAB) in the ways that we and our customers would use them...but with a semi-extreme sports slant. Like the MP.2 launch promo it will involve a team of local shooters, rock climbers, kite-boarders etc.

Very nice clip...love the soundtrack. Music is such an important part of the cinematic experience, it's one of those critical elements that can truly can make/break a production.
