Where to measure the focal plane (Nikon mount)

New postby SeanMulholland on Fri Aug 14, 2009 6:04 pm

Title says it all - I can see the glass plane inside the Brevis, so I'm guessing that's the focal plane I should measure to. Is there an external reference as to where exactly this is in the unit?

33.6mm back from where your Brevis interfaces with the lens mount. Or, they have created a fairly new product to make things very easy...and it looks cool 8) Its called the "David Smith" focus hook.

Watch a small video featuring the "David Smith" focus hook right here from this list.
